“Cute” Ganesha, although he does look kind of cute here, is somewhat ironic. Taking a closer look, we notice him sitting on a throne of skulls and his ears looking like bat wings. But the skulls are not supposed to be scary. They just show the contrasts between soul, spirituality, mortality and the transitory life.
