In Buddhism the Lotus Flower or Water Lily is a symbol of purity. It grows / floats in muddy water, rises and blooms above the murk, clean and fragrant. Furthermore it represents fortune and enlightenment.
Underneath are two hands forming the Shuni (or Shoonya) mudra. The Shuni mudra is a gesture that improves intuition, alertness and purifies emotions and thoughts.
