This is an image of the first generation model of the Volkswagen / VW Bus Type 2 T1 (Type 1 was the Beetle) with its unique split windshield. Production of the VW Bus or VW Camper / Transporter was running from 1950 and ceased in December 2013. Nevertheless, this old-school automobile became a cult and hippie wagon around the world. In Thailand for example you will find quite many of these vans transformed into an alternative open air music bar.
BTW: VW is planing to release a new electric version of the camper “ID.Buzz” in 2022!
